Angie Striepling

Director of Housing Initiatives

After many years of collaborating with and supporting PATH events, Angie Striepling officially joined PATH San Diego in October 2022 as the director of housing initiatives. She currently oversees the Homeless Response Center, permanent supportive housing programs, interim housing and outreach.

Angie began her career in Milwaukee, WI where she spent 11 years working for a Veteran service organization that provides housing and supportive services for Veterans and their families, and where she found her passion for serving the homeless population. This opportunity afforded her opportunities for advancement, where she ultimately became the director of programs, overseeing multiple grant and per diem programs, permanent housing and employment programs throughout the state of Wisconsin.  Prior to joining PATH, Angie worked at local nonprofit, Adjoin, where she spent 6 years as the director of veterans services, expanding their veterans services programming to increase the number of veteran households served, as well as funding. Angie was recently asked to co-chair the San Diego Veterans Consortium, a committee of the local Continuum of Care, and is a member of the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans and of the local San Diego Shared Housing Collaborative.

Angie received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from the University Wisconsin-Milwaukee. During her time off, Angie enjoys traveling with her partner both domestically and internationally, hiking, concerts, and spending time with friends, family, and her sweet kitty.
