As communities encounter COVID-19, PATH is working diligently to safeguard our stakeholders: clients, tenants, staff, and the wider community. During this difficult time, it has never been more important for us to meet the essential needs of those we serve, and we anticipate that the meals we provide to guests at interim facilities in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and San Diego will be impacted.
Our kitchens operate solely on donations, volunteers and the support of our community. Therefore, we are calling on you to provide help to our most vulnerable neighbors during this tough time for all.
Your contribution is needed in the following ways.
Santa Barbara
- Dedicated volunteers are needed to serve food in our kitchen during lunch and dinner. In particular, we are looking for flexible volunteers (not in high risk categories) that can help to fill in gaps as people call out. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact John “JB” Bowlin at johnb@epath.org.
- Monetary support to purchase meals on days that food donations and volunteers stop. While we cannot accept donations of perishable food, your financial support will allow us meet our guests basic needs. If you are interested in making a contribution, please click here.
Los Angeles
- Monetary support to purchase meals, as our food donations from local partners have completely stopped. While we cannot accept donations of perishable food, your financial support will allow us meet our guests basic needs. If you are willing to make a contribution, please click here.
- In-kind support via our Amazon Wish List. These items will help ensure the health and wellness of the thousands of individuals we serve across LA.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Waverly Paradox at waverlyp@epath.org.

San Jose
Our outreach and permanent housing programs in San Jose operate largely on donations, volunteers, and community support. During this uncertain time, our access to food and hygiene resources has been directly impacted. Your donation will help purchase these items in the face of very limited access. We will keep you informed of any future updates. Thank you so much for your support!
