LOS ANGELES – On Saturday, the SoCal Honda Dealers hosted a special holiday party for over 300 children and families from PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) and the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic (LACGC). Families in attendance come from extreme poverty, homelessness, and foster youth programs.

“The SoCal Honda Dealers are thrilled to bring a first-ever holiday celebration to families at Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic and PATH, an inspiring local organization that provides support to homeless individuals and families as they transition from living on the street to thriving on their own,” said Jeff Christoffel, President of the SoCal Honda Dealers Association. “We’re honored to host a holiday meal with complimentary gifts, carnival activities and even a petting zoo, to help spread cheer during the holiday season. We enjoyed seeing smiles on the faces of so many kids and families with this very special Random Act of Helpfulness.”

Families in attendance were treated to an afternoon of food and fun. The Helpful Honda Guys in Blue and volunteers provided families with a warm meal and parents were given gifts to give to their children. Kids also enjoyed carnival activities, a petting zoo, and photos with Santa. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti also joined the festivities.

“We’d like to thank SoCal Honda Dealers for hosting today’s holiday party,” said Joel Roberts, CEO of PATH. “These families have been through so much and it’s truly special to be able to spread a little holiday cheer, especially alongside such committed community partners.”

“The Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic has been throwing a holiday party for our consumers for many years, but never have we received this level of support. We are so grateful to SoCal Honda and the other companies, volunteers and individuals helping to ensure a very happy holiday season for our families,” said Charlene Dimas-Peinado, President and CEO of LACGC.
